Item Dispenser (Randomizer)
A redstone randomizer: press the button and the machine picks one of four colours at random, lights that colour's lamp and drops a wool of that colour into its chest. The random pick comes from the dropper, which always fires a random filled slot: load it with red, blue, lime and magenta wool, one slot each, so every colour has the same chance. The wool runs along a hopper line until its own colour's cell catches it. Each cell is a classic comparator filter: its filter hopper holds 41 wool of its colour and one renamed filler item in each other slot, so it only takes its own colour; the 42nd wool raises the comparator's signal just enough to reach the lamp, which flashes, and to switch off the torch locking the hopper below, which drops the wool into the chest. Refill the dropper from the chests. Built from stone bricks, polished deepslate, coloured concrete and wool, a dropper, hoppers, chests, comparators, repeaters, redstone dust, redstone torches, redstone lamps, a button and lanterns.
